The symposium sessions will review advances in multidisciplinary approaches for Kidney, Bladder and Prostate Cancers. The sessions will serve as a catalyst for implementing and applying innovative clinical practice into caring for patients with genitourinary cancers. The PRO and ARRO programs will provide curated content addressing issues specific to community practitioners and residents. The American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) is committed to providing educational programming that creates a forum for collaboration on issues in radiation oncology. This five-day live meeting is designed to improve professional practice by increasing attendees' level of knowledge as required to improve competency and performance in the field of oncology. The meeting will also address how advances in digital health care should be best used post pandemic to improve patient care.
Attendees need to determine when and how the latest science will affect their day-to-day practice, and thus be able to narrow competency gaps across the various disease sites most commonly treated in radiation oncology. A.If you are registered for either the In-person Full Conference or the Virtual Full Conference, no additional registration is required. Both registrations include onDemand access with CME credit claiming until June 1, 2025.
The Annual Meeting onDemand will be available for purchase to non-registrants October 3, 2024 ‒ January 31, 2025, in the ASTRO Academy.
Q.What is the difference between the Virtual Meeting and the Meeting onDemand?
A.The Virtual Meeting provides access to most meeting sessions* which will be livestreamed in real time September 28 - October 2, 2024.
The Annual Meeting onDemand offers registrants the opportunity to view recorded sessions and claim corresponding CME credits after the live meeting takes place. Both In-person Full Conference and Virtual Full Conference registration include onDemand access with CME credit claiming for most meeting sessions* until June 1, 2025.
